About Andrea

After practicing various styles of yoga, Andrea discovered Svaroopa® yoga, which was a turning point in her life. Andrea dove deeply into the study and practice of Svaroopa® yoga, attending multiple classes, building her daily practice and attending numerous workshops and events. Andrea began her yoga teacher training through Master Yoga Foundation in 2007, and completed the 700 hours of training required for full certification in 2011.

Svaroopa® yoga has made profound changes for Andrea in her physical, mental and spiritual well-being, and she is passionate about teaching the practice to others.

Andrea has obtained certifications from Master Yoga Foundation:

• Certified Svaroopa® Yoga teacher (CSYT)
• Certified Embodyment® Yoga Therapist

Andrea has also obtained certifications from Yoga Alliance:

• Registered Yoga teacher at the 500 hour level (RYT500)

Andrea is member of the Svaroopa Association of Teachers and a member of Yoga Alliance, which is the national organization for support and education of yoga teachers in America.
